Community

I had the pleasure of attending a little get together last night in honor of The Everygirl launch. It was a little surreal to finally meet so many of the girls who write the blogs I read on a daily basis. Imagine walking into a bar, seeing someone, and already knowing they like to cook, are getting married soon, and just had a birthday... but you've never actually met them in person. That happened for me last night with Lara of Simply Irresistible, along with several other bloggers who were there. So crazy! I love how much of a community is built around blogging - specifically with young Everygirls in Chicago just like myself!

I'll likely see several of the same ladies this weekend at the West Elm + Etsy event that Alaina is curating. I've already got my eye on a couple of items from some of the sellers that will be there, and I can't wait to check it all out!
